Our Founder
Shirley M. Cochran, M.S.P.T., P.C.S., is Green Hill Therapy's Founder and Executive Director. She holds a Master of Science Degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Miami. She is board certified in pediatric physical therapy by the American Physical Therapists Association - one of only three such therapists in the State of Kentucky. She is a member of the American Hippotherapy Association and the North American Riding for the Handicapped Association (NAHRA).
Prior to founding Green Hill Therapy, Shirley developed a physical therapy program for the Easter Seals Center of Louisville. She also developed the Neonatal Intensive Care Rehabilitation program for the University of Louisville Hospital.
Shirley was a professional exercise rider for more than 15 years. She has two children, Henry and Fredericka. Both children are riders and frequently assist in motivating our younger clients!
