All the practioners at Green Hill therapy are talented, medical professionals. The expertise of our organization is to provide comprehensive pediatric rehabilitation. Delivery of our services to our clients and their families is our strongest asset. All of our therapists are highly trained professionals. Our "equine therapists" are trained as well.
Occupational Therapists:
Cindy Morgan
Cindy comes
to us with 15 years of experience
in Pediatrics. She also works
with the First Steps Program.
She started at greenhill Therapy
in November of 07. She has an
Associate's Degree in Occupational
Therapy from Caldwell Community
College in Hudson, NC. She has
worked with First Steps and Care
Tenders. She is excited about
working in Hippotherapy.
Emily Crouch
Graduated from Eastern Kentucky University in 2001 with a Bachelors of Science in Occupational Therapy. After graduating, she began working for Bridgepoint Easter Seals in Clarksville, IN. She came to work full time for Green Hill in January 2003. She has seen a combination of in home for First Step patients and in center patients at Green Hill. Her main interest is in sensory integration disorders completing courses including: Practical Senses in Sensory Integration, Advanced Practical Sense in SI, Treatment of the Child with SI Dysfunction, and Advanced Brain Technology-The Listening Program. She also completed Intro to Hippotherapy, integrating NDT, SI and Motor Learning Perspectives in Pediatrics, and Treating the Premature Infant. She is currently developing a handwriting program to implement at Green Hill.
Evie Yaden
Graduated in 2002 from Spalding University with her Bachelor’s in Occupational Therapy. Worked in a variety of pediatric OT settings including Home Health and Jefferson County Public Schools. Some of her continue education courses have been: Level 1 Hippotherapy Treatment Principles and is a Level AHA member therapist, M.O.R.E: Integrating the Mouth with Sensory and Postural Functions, Sensory Defensiveness: A Comprehensive Treatment Approach, and Handwriting without Tears. She began at Green Hill Therapy in October of 2005.
Katie Mattingly
Katie is one of our newest Occupational Therapists, starting in December of '07. She has a Bachelor's Degree from Xavier University, Cincinnati, Ohio. She did her field work at the Good Samaritan Hospital, ABC Pediatric network, St. Elizabeth Hand Therapy Center, and NORCEN Behavior Health Systems. She loves working with horses and children.
Kristy Holland
Kristy is new to us for the new year of 2008. She has worked in Occupational Therapy and Child Development for almost four years. She is a graduate of EKU and is also certified in Sensory Integration, Praxis and Deep Physical Agent Modalities.
Physical Therapists:
Nikki Williams
Started at Green Hill Therapy July of 2006 as a part time therapist. She worked as a certified Physical Therapist Assistant from 1999-2006. She went back to school and graduated with her Masters in Physical Therapy from University of Kentucky in 2006. Some of her continuing education courses have been: a complement of Level 1 of Hippotherapy course, and a course in Pediatrics: A New Perspective from Neuro to Ortho. She is a member of APTA and AHA.
Becky Hall
Has 29 years of experience in the field of Physical Therapy with 26 years directed to pediatrics. Has had previous work experience in Jefferson County Schools, NICU at University Hospital, and currently treats First Steps children in there homes as well as working part-time at Green Hill Therapy. Have attended continuing education courses throughout the years which include: Sensory Integration, Develpmental Interventions in Neonatal Care, Neuromuscular Re-Education, Myofacial Release for Pediatrics, and the Use of Baclofen/Baclofen Pump/Botox in the Treatment of Spasticity.
Deborah Parker
Deborah started at Greenhill Therapy in July of '07. She graduated from Jefferson Community College with a Physical Therapist Associate's Degree in May of 2007. She is thrilled to have this opportunity to work with pediatrics and looks forward to continuing education available in the Hippotherapy field.
Joanne Luciano
Joanne started at Greenhill Therapy in November of '07. She has worked in pediatrics for over ten years. She has a masters of Health Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Indianapolis and was a traveling PT for a year. She is a member of the American Hippotherapy Association and the North American Riding for the Handicapped Association.
Speech Therapists:
Laurie Wells
Laurie joined the Greenhill Therapy team as the first speech therapist on staff on October 24th, 2007. Laurie continues to work for Jefferson County Schools, where she uses Animal Assisted Therapy in the form of service dogs to motivate her students with moderate to severe disabilities to communicate. She received her Master's Degree in Communication Disorders from Truman State University in Kirksville, Missouri and completed a Psychology Degree from the University of Illinois. She has worked in England and New Zealand with children with severe disabilities, where she specialized in augmentative communication.
